His string quartet, “X-trusions — a déjà vu in 4D,” won top honors in the professional category and was performed during the International Joint Conference on Latin-American and Modern Music in February at Texas State University, where he teaches jazz piano and composition. Hank is a National Endowment for the Arts fellow and performs with the Hehmsoth Project.
