After 20 years of teaching elementary school, Diane and her husband opened an independent bookstore on Denton’s downtown square, Patchouli Joe's Books &amp; Indulgences. Her favorite UNT memory was going to the Student Union and picking out an album to listen to. “Someone behind the counter would put it on a turntable and give me a set of headphones. I would then find a seat and listen to the album as I worked on homework.
