The Rev. Amy K. Forsythe, Georgetown :: was ordained as a full elder in the Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church last summer. She is the associate pastor of adult discipleship at the First United Methodist Church in Georgetown. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from UNT and a Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity School of Fort Worth in 2009.
