Scott Gehman, Houston,who studied music at North Texas from 1975 to 1977, is a composer, an audio engineer and chair of Houston Community College’s audio recording and film making department. His musical The Legend of Yin and Yang, which was performed in Houston and China in 2005, is being revived this fall. The revival features a joint company of Chinese and American singers, actors and acrobats and incorporates Mandarin and English dialogue and original songs into a variety of styles such as Broadway, Hip Hop dance, Chinese acrobatics and martial arts. After performances at Houston Baptist University Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, the production travels to Shenzhen, China, in early December.
