Russell Ingram (M.Ed.), Dallas, was inducted into the Garland Sports Hall of Fame in September. He was All-District and All-Metropolitan Dallas in football while at South Garland High School, was district and regional champ in the discus throw and participated in the state track meet. He received an athletic scholarship to Texas Tech, where he was a three-year starter and letterman in football, was All-Southwest Conference and was captain of the 1972 team. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the ninth round in the 1973 NFL draft. He lives in Dallas with his wife, Kerri.
