Richard Rafes (Ph.D.), Lewisburg, W.V., was inaugurated as president of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in October. He served in various capacities for 26 years in the UNT System, leaving as senior vice president for administration to assume the presidency at East Central University in Ada, Okla. He took over as president at WVSOM in January 2009.
