Paul T. Hebda (Ph.D.), Birmingham, Alabama, retired after 20 years working for the Social Security Administration's Office of Hearings Operations, with his last 10 years spent as the chief administrative law judge in the Anchorage, Alaska, hearing office. Prior to his time with SSA, he was in private law practice for 11 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Before entering the practice of law, he was director of international studies at UNT.
