'17Pamela Skjolsvik (M.S.), Richland Hills, wrote Forever 51 (Fawkes Press), a novel that follows a vampire — who is “eternally bloated, short-tempered and thirsty for blood” — as she regains her mortality. She won second place for her nonfiction manuscript Death Becomes Us at the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference in 2013.
