Maurice Fortin, San Angelo :: has retired as executive director of library services at Angelo State University. Maurice served in various positions at UNT Libraries for 15 years before working at ASU in 1996. Fortin is a longtime member of the American Library Association, Texas Library Association, Texas Council of Academic Libraries and Phi Beta Mu international honor society fpr library and information sciences. Maurice has given more than 50 historical and educational presentations throughout Texas, contributed to five boks and published more than two dozen articles and reviews in industry journals. He also has acted as a consultant for county and college/university libraries in Texas.
