Lisa Day, Haslet, was been named Region 11’s 2020 Secondary Teacher of the Year. In 2005, she joined Northwest ISD, and for the past six years, she has been the team lead for the freshman English teachers at her campus. Lisa serves as a National Honor Society faculty council member, as well as the Gifted and Talented coordinator. She was cited for her work in bringing community and collaboration to her classroom.
