Larry Tagg, Sacramento, Calif. :: has published The Generals of Shiloh: Character in Leadership, April 6-7, 1862 (Savas Beatie), a study of high-ranking combat officers whose conduct in April 1862 helped determine the fate of their armies during the Civil War battle. He previously wrote The Generals of Gettysburg. He also has been bass player and singer for the 1980s band Bourgeois Tagg, as well as Todd Rundgren, Heart, and Hall and Oates. He teaches high school English and drama.
