Kathy Dieringer (Ed.D.), Double Oak, was elected president of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). Beginning in June 2021, she will lead the organization of 45,000 members for three years. Kathy is a certified and licensed athletic trainer and is the original owner/founder of D&D Sports Med in Denton, Sanger and Aubrey. She served on the board of directors of the Greater Denton Sports Commission and was an athletic trainer for Olympic organizations such as USA Gymnastics and USA Volleyball.
