Julia Carolyn Bailey Bahler Hautzenroeder, St. Joseph, Mo., celebrated her 90th birthday Aug. 15 with a family dinner and a dessert party. She wed Sgt. Ralph W. Bahler in Denton the summer she graduated and was married to him for 58 years before his death. They had five children and 11 grandchildren. In December, she and Edmond Gilbert Hautzenroeder are celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary. She is a former school teacher and remains involved in her church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, University Women, community clubs and 4-H.
