Joseph L. Cacibauda (M.M.Ed.), Sparks, Nev., says he was fortunate to attend North Texas while Leon Breeden was the lab bands director. He played in summer lab bands and worked in Fort Worth and Dallas with Don Jacoby and Charlie Baxter. He is now an elementary teacher, married with two sons. He wrote the book After Laughing Comes Crying (Legas Press), about his paternal grandfather who came from Sicily to work on the plantations of Louisiana in the late 1800s.
