JONATHAN A. MOLINA-GARCIA, Richmond, Va., is assistant professor in the photography and film department at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts. He is a photo-based media artist who focuses on the themes of national and sexual identity. He received a master’s of fine arts degree in photography from the California Institute of Arts. In 2014, he won the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Arts Award with his photography project documenting labor workers in West Texas.
