Jared Sachs, Redondo Beach, Calif. :: is bandleader for Jamsara, which released its debut album in February. The band features Jared on guitar, *Henry Beal (’17) on bass, Mich Polan (’15) on drums and senior jazz studies major Jeremy Langthorn (’18) on saxophone. The band members have played all over Dallas-Fort Worth and belonged to the One O’Clock Lab Band. Jared had the idea to combine concepts from his favorite rock albums with skills he learned from the jazz studies program in the College of Music.
