James ‘Beau’ Cain (M.S.), Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, has taught at the American School Foundation of Monterrey for 12 years, the last seven as the secondary campus librarian. As a result of the success of the library program, he was invited to deliver the presentation “Creating a Five-Year Collection Development Plan” and to co-present a skills workshop at the American Schools of Mexico Librarians Conference in Mexico City in September. He also was invited to present “The Strategic Role of Libraries in Schools” at the annual ASOMEX Director’s Meeting in Pachuca, Mexico.
