G. A. Moore, Jr. (’67 M.Ed.), Pilot Point :: has been awarded the Legends Award by the National Football Foundation after serving as head coach at Texas high schools for 45 seasons and finishing with a 431-97-9 career record. As a coach for Bryson, Pilot Point, Celina, Sherman and Aubrey high schools, he led his teams to eight state football championships. He has been inducted into the North Texas Athletics Hall of Fame, the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
