Don Tomlinson

Don Tomlinson, Houston :: co-wrote Irlene Mandrell’s book, God Rains Miracles. The book chronicles the stories of the Mandrell family and their close friends and associates through the years. Don was a television journalist before becoming a lawyer 40 years ago. He holds an LL.M. in intellectual property law from the University of Houston Law Center and was a journalism and law professor at Texas A&M University and UHLC for 25 years. He also is a performing musician and songwriter. He has written other books, including the novel Oedipus Tex and a nonfiction work Desiderata The Book, an interpretation of the famous prose poem Desiderata.
