Courtland Jindra, Los Angeles :: is a volunteer with the United States World War One Centennial Commission. He has tracked down forgotten WWI memorials in Los Angeles, been involved with the restoration efforts of two memorials and helped coordinate several commemorations in the L.A. area. He has lived in Los Angeles since he graduated from college, and he has worked in various roles in the entertainment industry. During his time at UNT, he was involved with the Talons and fondly remembers building the annual Homecoming Bonfire. “Those were always extremely taxing physically, but the camaraderie couldn't be beat,” he says.
