Catherine McKay Martin, Cincinnati, Ohio, mezzo-soprano, received second place in the Houston Grand Opera’s Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers in February. She also was a featured soloist in the 2008 Cincinnati Grandin Music Festival.
