Carolyn Courtney (M. S.), Plainview :: was named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who. She is retired from 33 years in public education as a teacher and librarian at Hale Center and Lockney ISDs. She also is a member of Beta Phi Mu International Honor Society for library and information science. In 1976, while studying for her M.Ed. at West Texas A&M University, she was awarded the Holden-Lafferty scholarship from Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
