Allie Perkins, Garland :: program manager and event designer at Ultimate Ventures since 2017, has won the Texas Star Award from the International Live Events Association for Best Event Designer/Décor. The award recognized her work in organizing an annual dinner called “An Evening Under the Texas Sunset,” put on by one of her clients. Previously, Allie worked at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanic Gardens as a special events facilitator and as an intern for Ultimate Ventures. After graduation, she worked for a marketing company doing internal events before returning to Ultimate Ventures. While attending UNT, she worked with Young Hoon Kim and Elliot Dubin in the College of Merchandising, Hospitality and Tourism.
