Adrian Gabriel Cadar, Nashville, graduated with his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in May 2021. He will be starting his internal medicine residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in July 2021. He intends to complete a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine, then work as a physician-scientist in the field of cardiovascular medicine with the goal of running a basic science lab focused on inherited cardiomyopathies. Prior to medical school, he received a Ph.D. in molecular physiology and biophysics from Vanderbilt University. While at UNT, he majored in biology and worked in the laboratory of Ed Dzialowski, professor of biological sciences, researching congenital heart disease.
