Michael Dooley, Houston, retired from the City of Houston Parks and Recreation Department in February after 26 years as an executive-level division manager. He was a member of the North Texas Mean Green football team under Hayden Fry. He says he is enjoying traveling, playing golf and being active in social organizations.

Gerry Myers (M.B.A.), Dallas, is CEO and president of Advisory Link, which helps organizations increase their number of female employees, executives and customers. She writes a column for Dealer magazine and has been quoted in the New York Times. Advisory Link was named a finalist in the 2005 Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs in the categories of Women Helping Women and Community Involvement Program of the Year.

Isidore Rudnick (’92 M.M.), Cincinnati, Ohio, has been hired as artistic director of the School for Creative and Performing Arts, a public arts education school in Cincinnati for grades 4 to 12. Previously, he served as music department coordinator at the University of Maine at Augusta and director of instrumental music at Yakima Valley Community College in Washington.

Michael L. Smith (Ph.D.), Willow Park, has been named chair of the Department of Integrative Physiology at the UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth after serving as acting chair for two years. He has worked at the center for more than 10 years.

Will McIntosh (Ph.D.), has been named dean of the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. His first position was with the University of Kentucky, and he later worked for Prudential, AIG and ING.

Dionne Floyd Anglin, Fort Worth, is a reporter for KDFW Fox 4 in Dallas. Since graduating, she has worked in television news in Tallahassee, New Orleans, Sacramento and San Francisco. She’s married to John Anglin, a photojournalist for KDAF WB-33 in Dallas, and says they spend as much time as possible with their 6-year-old daughter, Madison.

Alberta Chappell (M.S.), Farmington, N.M., received the New York Life Phoenix Award in March, given to a woman business owner who has overcome obstacles to run a successful business. She is the owner of Bernina Sewing Center of Four Corners Inc. in Farmington.

Don Hill (’92 M.B.A.), Dallas, was elected a partner in the law firm of Godwin Pappas Langley & Ronquillo LLP in December. He works in the Dallas office and primarily practices in the areas of commercial litigation and general corporate law.

Chris T. McAllister (Ph.D.), San Angelo, married Monique Harsch in March 2005. They celebrated the birth of their first child, Nikolas Hollis, who weighed 8 pounds and was 21 inches long, in December. Chris is a visiting assistant professor of biology at Angelo State University.
