Ashley Byno (M.A.), Pittsburgh, Pa., earned her M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in May. She will be relocating to Newark, Del., for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. She lives with her husband of 10 years, David, and their 7-year-old daughter, Haley.

Jason Goodman (’04 M.J.), Richardson, is managing editor of Stevens Publishing in Dallas.

Rick De La Fuente, Coppell, married Jacquelyn Fraley (’01) in October 2004. Rick worked in retail and for the last three years has been an accountant for a rental car company. Jacquelyn worked as a claims adjustor for several years and is now a fifth-grade teacher in Irving. They live in Coppell with their Chihuahua, Bailey.

Timothy Duane, Fresno, Calif., has joined the Madera County Probation Department as a deputy probation officer.

Jesse Martin, Haltom City, married Nancy Davis in November and says he knew he would the second he saw her. He has been recruited into a leadership program at Waffle House and is being transferred to Oklahoma City.

Renee Sneed (M.B.A.), Dallas, has been promoted to vice president of human resources for the architectural firm Corgan Associates Inc. She is a certified senior professional in human resources and a volunteer for numerous organizations.

Kristi Lynn Flippin, Tyler, is a special projects coordinator for the city of Tyler. She won a 2005 Dallas Press Club Katie Award for the best spot news in a six-state area for “Courthouse Rampage,” a Tyler Morning Telegraph staff effort about a shooting at the Tyler Courthouse.

Valeria Gubellini, Bologna, Italy, moved back to Italy after graduating from UNT and joined an international French company, ALSTOM, in the human resource department. She says she is grateful to UNT for everything she has learned and for her success in the workplace.

Sharon Hogue-Ali (M.S.) and Mohammed K. Ali (’05), Sachse, welcomed their first child in December. James Douglas Kowsar Ali was 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and 21.5 inches long.

Vickie Mix (M.S.), Volga, S.D., has completed her M.Ed. in adult and higher education administration from South Dakota State University in Brookings. She works as a reference librarian at the university.

Caesar Righton (M.S.) and Crystal Righton (’03), Roanoke, welcomed their second child, C.J., last July and have a daughter, Clara, in kindergarten. Caesar is a risk analyst for the Citicards division of Citigroup, and Crystal is a marketing analyst at Poly-America, a plastics manufacturing company.

Chris Barton, McKinney, was promoted to branch operations manager of Richardson’s Countrywide Home Loans in February. Prior to being promoted, he worked as an account executive selling mortgages. His wife, Diana Helpingstine Barton (’04), also works at Countrywide Home Loans as a loan specialist.

Ruth Ann Hensley (M.J.), Memphis, Tenn., is publications coordinator at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.

Mark Wilkinson, Keller, teaches history and coaches football at Fossil Hill Middle School. Jonith Wilkinson (’05) began nursing school in January at the TWU Dallas campus. They are both supporters of the football program at Fossil Ridge High School.

Tyler Tamplin, San Antonio, is a sports designer/copy editor for the San Antonio Express-News.

Taylor Timmins (M.J.), Jersey City, N.J., is web news editor/ producer for Foxnews. com in New York City. She also writes features and compiles a daily odd news column for the site called “Out There.”
