Entertaining the Troops
  [media mention]

Kelly Kirchoff (’01) of Lewisville had to miss her December graduation ceremony at UNT, but it was for a good cause. Kirchoff, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader who earned her degree in biology, traveled with the cheerleaders’ show group on its 45th USO tour. Over the holidays the group entertained U.S. troops stationed in Korea and Okinawa. “Graduation is exciting, but I’ll have the diploma on the wall,” Kirchoff said. “Spending time with people who are working for us every day is more important.”
