Real estate alumni
After years of gathering for annual events, UNT alumni working in the commercial real estate field officially organized the UNT Real Estate Alumni Association last year.
Membership chair David Tuttle ('93) says the association's aim is to support the UNT real estate program and promote networking among its graduates and friends. Plans are to increase the association's membership from 150 registered members to 500 by next spring. Registration is free and there are currently no annual dues.
This fall, members will gather for an annual retreat at the Jacksboro ranch of John Baen, real estate professor and association board member, and will sponsor a tent at the Mean Green Village during Homecoming Nov. 19. They also plan to hold an alumni appreciation dinner in the spring and various smaller events throughout the year (pictured above are attendees of the 2005 alumni appreciation dinner, with Baen in the center wearing a Viking hat to indicate a bold new era for the program.)
To register as a member and receive updates about the association's activities, visit realestatealumni.unt.edu/reg, or fax your name, company name, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address and UNT graduation date and degree to (972) 769-2133.
