Tony Arterburn

Tony Arterburn (’66, ’68 M.Ed.), Gainesville :: He taught vocational guidance and vocational education in the Arlington ISD until his retirement in 1982. He then opened a private mental health therapist office in Gainesville from 1986 to 1995. During retirement, he and his wife Barbara owned and operated Tony’s Tavern in Muenster. He enjoyed shooting pool, dancing and cooking on his smoker as well as living at the lake and boating. He and his wife spent many hours volunteering for the VFW in Gainesville. At North Texas, he was secretary for the industrial arts club. Survivors include his daughter Stefanie Williams (’05).
