Thomas Black, Keller :: published his first book, The Passive Income Physician: Surviving a Career Crisis by Increasing Net Worth (Napali Capital), a memoir about how he founded an asset management firm with more than $50 million in holdings after being burnt out as an emergency room physician. He is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who manages the physician group for eight emergency hospitals for Baylor Health. He is co-founder of Napali Capital. Black got into real estate purchasing rental homes and moved to building apartment complexes. He is a former member of the U.S. Navy. He is married to Micaela Bergstrom Black (’02).
