Suzette Carona

Charles Carona (M.Ed., ’86 Ed. D) and wife Suzette (’71, B.A., ’79 M.S.), Dallas :: have retired after a combined 87 years in education. He served as a teacher and administrator in the Richardson and Highland Park ISDs. He has served as a high school principal for J.J. Pearch High School in Richardson and the dean for the College of Education at Dallas Baptist University. He also was assistant head of middle school at Trinity Christian Academy in Addiosn and now teachers part time at Cornerstone Crossroads Academy and El Centro College. Suzette taught in the Richardson ISD, Richland College and Episcopal School of Dallas. At ESD, she was named Texas Teacher of the Year and started the humanities and film studies programs. She now volunteer teaches at Vickery Meadows West Learning Center.
