Stand-out Student

There were experts from around the world. And only one was a student —  who happened to be from UNT.

Kelli Barr, an environmental philosophy graduate student and a research fellow at UNT's Center for the Study of Interdisciplinarity, was an invited panelist for "The Individual and Scholarly Networks," an international virtual seminar beamed live in January from New York, Amsterdam and Oxford. She spoke about the value and impact of academic research.

Barr studies how scholars and scientists can combine metrics and peer review to help define the scope and meaning of academic research.
