Sam W. Braly (’61), Casa Grande, Arizona :: He was a member of the Geezles. After graduating he entered the U.S. Navy and served three tours in Vietnam. He was on board the U.S. Maddox when it was fired upon in the Gulf of Tonkin incident. After serving, he spent many years exploring the outback from Australia to Alaska. He also served as a consultant to several engineering firms and helping to develop innovations for projects from naval shipbuilding to automobiles. He spent the last 20 years of his life in Arizona.
