Richard O. FaulkRichard O. Faulk, Houston :: became a partner with Alexander Dubose Jefferson & Townsend LLP, an appellate boutique law firm. He previously was a partner for Hollingsworth LLP and a partner at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in Houston for 17 years, where he chaired both the firm-wide litigation and environmental practices. He also was senior director of energy and environment for the Law & Economics Center at George Mason University and is a member of the board of overseers for the Seale Civil Justice Institute. He is one of the first lawyers certified in civil appellate law and has argued cases before the United States Supreme Court. In 2015, he won his fourth William Burton Award for Legal Writing at ceremonies at the Library of Congress, a national award program recognizing achievements in law. He is one of few to win this award multiple times.
