UNT alumnus Mark Willis hones career on the radio with "Road Dog Trucking News"

Mark Willis (Photo courtesy KRLD)Mark Willis' ('15) voice is heard by 1 million listeners a day as the host of Road Dog Trucking News, a Sirius XM Satellite Radio show aimed at professional truck drivers.

Willis first came to UNT in the 1970s, but left in the early 1980s to pursue a career in media. He landed jobs at KRLD in Dallas, CBS 11 TV and ABC Radio Networks. He took online courses to finish his UNT degree in applied arts and sciences last year.

"The foundation building at UNT gave me the confidence to learn, grow and experience all life has to offer," he says.
