It is indeed sad to know about the demise of Dr. Roden. I had the pleasure of working with him as his teaching assistant at the University of North Texas from 1992-94. He was one of the nicest persons I knew. I still remember the day he hired me as his teaching assistant in the fall of 1992. He saw my name and asked if I was related to 'Ramanathan Krishnan', one of the leading tennis players in India in the 60's. His passion for teaching and tennis is what I remember most about him. May his soul rest in peace.

Goodbye Doc. I will miss you.
