UNT alumna Ana Armenta lands place at international theatre workshop

Ana Armenta ('15) (Photo by Kelsey Frvi)Ana Armenta ('15) is spending her first summer out of college at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland, attending a four-week intensive program that accepts only 21 students from around the world.

Armenta knew it was right for her because she loves Irish theatre and wanted one-on-one direction.

She appeared in the lead role of the UNT production of The Diver's Wife and would like to pursue acting as a career. She originally intended to go into production.

"But, I took an acting class, loved it and stuck with it," she says. "My education has really helped me refine my skills and explore different ways of approaching a role or a project."
