Helen Flowers Pigg (’50, ’52), Richardson :: She was one of four siblings to graduate from UNT where their parents met in 1920, receiving her degrees in education. She taught in Vernon, Witchita Falls and Richardson ISDs and implemented a special education curriculum at Richardson. After 31 years of teaching, Pigg served as historian for local and district retired teachers associations and as a volunteer for  Network Community Ministries and adult literacy. Survivors include her son-in-law Keith Warren (’85 Ph.D.) and her granddaughter Elaine Hathaway (’15).
