UNT alumnus Chris Reza living the dream as Broadway musician

Chris Reza ('10) (Photo by Kevin Chavez)Chris Reza's ('10) workplace is in the orchestra pit of one of Broadway's biggest shows.

He is the reed player for Fun Home, which won the 2015 Tony Award for Best Musical. He also has performed for The Book of Mormon, Matilda and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

And he wrote the book, music and lyrics for Question 1, a musical that focuses on a closeted politician who becomes engulfed in the same-sex marriage debate. It had its first public presentation in New York City last November and will have a workshop in Dallas this fall.

"For me, performing beautiful music night after night alongside the world's greatest musicians constitutes living the dream," he says.
