Christina Kitchens (’05 M.B.A.), Grapevine :: moved an energy finance team to East West Bank, among the top 25 largest U.S. public banks, which recently expanded to Texas. She now leads the energy lending group for the bank as senior managing director. She was named to Who’s Who in Energy 2015-16 by Dallas Business Journal for the third year in a row and to Dallas 500: The Most Powerful Business Leaders in DFW for 2015-16 by D CEO. She serves on the UNT College of Business Advisory Board and is active in several trade and professional associations. While at UNT, she enjoyed being in the Professional Leadership Program because of its classes in leadership, business and professional polish, along with opportunities for community service projects. “I made many friends in the program, gained confidence and was bettered in my career, then and now, for the experience,” she says. “I am grateful for the Mean Green and the PLP.”
