UNT Symphony Orchestra to play at pre-Super Bowl XLV concert, also featuring Tim McGraw

The North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee invited the renowned UNT Symphony Orchestra to play at XLV Countdown: Live from Cowboys Stadium presented by Frito-Lay at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 10. 
The event celebrates 50 years of Dallas Cowboys history and culminates the Kick-Off Concert Series for North Texas’ first Super Bowl.
In addition to joining Tim McGraw for part of his performance, UNT’s orchestra will perform works commissioned by the NFL to accompany films highlighting Dallas Cowboys history and Emmitt Smith’s August induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Concertgoers also will be able to hear pianist Van Cliburn perform the National Anthem.
