Department of Behavior Analysis wins leadership award

UNT’s Department of Behavior Analysis — the nation’s first department and graduate program — received the 2012 Enduring Programmatic Contributions Award from the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis in May for leadership in teaching, service and scholarship. It has a longstanding reputation for work in autism and related disabilities, behavior and cultural analysis, and applied behavior analysis with animals. It also was the first graduate program accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International, and developed the first applied behavior analysis undergraduate degree and the first professional online certification program.
