Baron Raymonde (’84 M.M.), New York, N.Y. :: was inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame at B.B. King’s in New York City. His talent has earned him a spot as saxophonist with Rod Stewart, the Levon Helm Band, The Original Blues Brothers Band, the Matt “Guitar” Murphy band, the G.E. Smith band and the Broadway show Ain’t Nothing But The Blues. He wrote music for The Ricki Lake Show and played on the closing theme of the Today show. “Studying music at UNT definitely helped my career,” he says.
