The National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security have designated UNT a National Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Research. UNT is one of about 60 designated research centers in the U.S.
Housed in UNT's College of Business, the logistics and supply chain management program was ranked third in a new study of supply chain technology education by Software Advice, an online database providing research and reviews of software applications. UNT ranked high due to its integration of new technology into the program.
