English professor B.H. Fairchild released The Blue Buick: New and Selected Poems, a collection of poems he wrote throughout his career. Fairchild says it was difficult to choose the poems, but he was surprised by how proud he was by the finished book.
Guido Verbeck, associate professor of chemistry, has partnered with Denton County to create the county's first forensic drug lab. Housed on the UNT campus, the lab is staffed with graduate students certified to handle, test and analyze drug samples.
