Alan Klem
, Omaha, Neb., assistant professor of theater at Creighton University, prepared a major theater production, a musical titled Lewis and Clark, at the university for performance this fall. He adapted the musical from the expedition's journals.

Dennis Winborn ('74 M.Ed.), Richardson, was named assistant superintendent of elementary education in Lewisville. He has worked at the Lewisville ISD since 1987, starting as assistant principal and becoming executive director of elementary education in 1994.

Charles Carona
(M.Ed., '86 Ed.D.), Dallas, has been selected as assistant professor of education and director of the master of education program at Dallas Baptist University. He was formerly principal of J.J. Pearce High School and assistant principal at Highland Park High School.

Steven Paxton ('77 M.M.), Santa Fe, N.M., is the newly appointed director of the contemporary music program at the College of Santa Fe. He served on the faculty of Texas Tech University for 22 years before moving to Santa Fe with his wife, Joy.

(M.S.), Alexandria, Va., is president of Successful Life Transitions. He helps people balance their work and personal lives and find jobs and careers they love. He can be reached at davidacole@comcast.net.

Barbara Lamsens, Fort Worth, is the executive director of the Parenting Center, a nonprofit social service agency that serves families and children in Fort Worth, Arlington and Mansfield. She has been with the company for more than seven years and was previously a program director with Catholic Charities.

James Ngon Hoc Ha
(M.B.A.), La Habra, Calif., recently joined Coaster Co. of America, a distributor and importer of ready-to-assemble furniture and lamps, as vice president of finance. He and his wife, Chauyen ('77 M.B.A.), are both UNT accounting graduates and CPAs.

Rita Newman
(Ph.D.), Dallas, was inducted into the Cleveland Heights High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame. She is a professional tutor and writer and a former teacher, curriculum developer and principal for inner-city students.

Marsha Winship, Georgetown, has been named principal of Richarte High School for the Georgetown ISD. She holds master's degrees from the University of Southern Maine and Marian College.
