Bobbie Ann Adair, Temple, married Heath Douglas White,
a 2005 graduate of the UNT Health Science Center at Fort Worth,
in January 2006. Bobbie Ann was employed at UNT's Health Science Center until December 2005 and is now coordinator of learning resources at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. Heath is a second-year resident in internal medicine at Scott and White Hospital in Temple.

Kristin Ficaro-Johnson, Denton, who teaches fourth grade at Flower Mound Elementary School, was included in the 2006-07 Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She was chosen as her school's Teacher of the Year for 2005-06 after only four years of teaching.

Rebecca J. Martin (M.A.), Fort Worth, is director of education
of the Sid Richardson Museum in Sundance Square. She previously wrote and taught interdisciplinary art lessons at Oakhurst Elementary School and was a project coordinator of UNT's North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, a facilitator of the Summer Institute on the Arts at the UNT School of Visual Arts and a graduate researcher for SOVA. She was a 1998-99 Edward and Betty Marcus Fellow.

Mariah Armitage, McKinney, and Lawrence Armitage welcomed their second child, Evan Michael, in January.

Bruce Magallan, Burleson, says since graduating he has continued his love of distance running by competing in the 2004 Boston Marathon and now works for Lynn Smith Chevrolet as a sales consultant. He married Amy C. Coffey ('04), who is a regional coordinator for Pedeatrix, a newborn hearing screening program. They have two children, Ava, 4, and Andrew, 1. While at UNT, Bruce was a member of Delta Tau Delta and Amy was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. They are still supporters of their Greek organizations and UNT athletics.

Dario Aguilar, Richardson, and Sharon Laster Aguilar ('03), Gainesville, were married in a beachfront ceremony in Newport, R.I., in June. She is in her second year of law school at Southern Methodist University, and he is a senior broker for TD Waterhouse.

Josh Baugh (M.J.), San Antonio, is a staff writer for the San Antonio Express News. He covers a geographic beat of 11 small towns in the San Antonio metro area and says he works with several other UNT alums on the fourth floor.

*Jennifer Huber, Lewisville, is teaching kindergarten with the Lewisville ISD. She graduated with an M.A. in teaching from Texas Woman’s University in December.

Sunny Punjani, San Antonio, has opened two Little Caesar's Pizza restaurants and says he is working on opening a few more locations in San Antonio.

Amy Bishop, Dallas, former announcer and program director for UNT radio station KNTU, joined WRR Classical 101.1 FM in Dallas-Fort Worth as weekend announcer. She presented news and traffic reports on WRR before being asked to join the staff full time.

Karl Boyd-Nafstad, Newark, N.J., is a graduate student at the New School for Social Research in Manhattan after earning his master of science degree in global affairs from Rutgers University in May 2006. He is married to Christa Boyd-Nafstad ('00).

Ashley Womble, Brooklyn, N.Y., has been named associate editor of Cosmopolitan magazine.

*Raymond Mata, Los Angeles, Calif., was named reserve district manager and district recruiting manager for Farmers Insurance in Sherman Oaks. He most recently served as account executive for Rhattigan Broadcasting in Texas and has assisted on various film and television projects in Austin and Los Angeles.

*Jeffrey B. Sodoma (M.P.A.), Fort Worth, is an operations planner for DMJM Harris in Dallas. He will help Dallas Area Rapid Transit design, construct and test the extensions to its light rail transit system. He previously worked nearly eight years for BNSF Railway in Fort Worth. He says on New Year's Eve at the stroke of midnight, he proposed to Amanda Lynn Hughes of Fort Worth and she said "yes." Their wedding was planned for June.
