Kyle, has been appointed executive assistant to the superintendent
at Hays CISD. She was formerly director of communications and community
relations for the district.

Eckstein,
Dallas, is marketing her own art after 20 years of working in
the office furniture market. She has been employed by dealerships
such as Herman Miller/Milcare and was self-employed with P&E & Associates
Inc.

D. Phillip Brown
(M.M.), Carbondale, Ill., associate professor of music at Southern
Illinois University at Carbondale, was honored for his work and
commitment within the arts by the Illinois Arts Council this year.
He received a $7,000 fellowship in music composition.

Forney, is head basketball and golf coach at Forney High School
and coaches freshman football. He was selected as a Texas High
School Coaches Association All-star Basketball Coach last summer.

M.M.), Pilot Point, married Shannon Cain
Wardle ('01) on
Nov. 16. David is the president and owner of D.W. Slater Co.,
a real estate appraisals and consulting firm. Shannon teaches
first grade at Pilot Point Elementary School.

Tim Cole, Montague,
is in his third term as district attorney for Archer, Montague and Clay counties.
Through December 2002, he had won all of his more than 100 felony cases.

W. Alfred 'Al' Winder II,
Denton, is president of the Denton chapter of the North Texas Exes and controller
for Rhino Steel Building Systems in Denton. He married Kimberly
Collins ('88)
in 1999, and they have two daughters.

McDougle (Ph.D.), Pittsburg, Kan., was promoted to the rank of professor
in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Pittsburg
State University.

Carrollton, has been named defensive coordinator for Richardson
High School. He will also coach the linebackers and teach a communications
class. He and his wife, Mary Ann Yuzbick, have two boys, Dane,
2, and Chase, 1.
