Robert C. Harmon, Sherman, was given the distinguished student award by the Sherman Ex-Students Association.

Charles Wagamon, Huntsville, is finishing his last term as Walker County judge and will retire at the end of this year. He and his wife, Marion, have been married 54 years and have lived in Huntsville since 1968. They have five children and eight grandchildren.

Carolyn Cooper Cartwright, Greenville, retired from Texas A&M University-Commerce after 39 years in education. She was an associate professor in the university’s Department of Secondary and Higher Education since 1985. She has also taught at Stephen F. Austin State University and in several high schools.

Wallace M. ‘Bud’ Coats, Tempe, Ariz., retired from Exxon Co. U.S.A. after 32 years in the marketing department.
