Gyna Bivens

Gyna Bivens ('77), executive director of the North Texas BOLD Initiative, delivered the keynote address at the 10th annual and final Equity and Diversity Conference on campus. The non-profit organization assists companies whose leaders are committed to employment diversity.

 

 

Crowd celebrating UNT basketball team

Mean Green men's basketball fans and players celebrated at the Athletic Center March 11 as pairings were announced for the first round of the NCAA tournament. UNT, playing in the tournament for only the second time in school history, lost to fifth-ranked Memphis 73-58. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., president of Waterkeeper Alliance, spoke on campus March 14 as part of the Distinguished Lecture Series and was a featured speaker at UNT's Waterways 2007 conference earlier in the day.
